Nickolas Dyson Bear

It is with great sadness that the family of Nickolas Dyson Bear, announces his tragic passing on February 21, 2026, in Winnipeg, Manitoba at the age of 20. Born on February 10, 2006, in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Nickolas was a humble, friendly, outgoing, smart, humorous, strong, and confident person who enjoyed life to the fullest. He especially loved hockey, weightlifting, and making music.

Nickolas is survived by his siblings Tifara, Darsayah, and Kingston, his grandparents Mileys Berens and Germaine Bear, as well as his aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Nickolas was pre-deceased by his parents, Reagan Bear and Orval McKay, his grandparents Norman Sr. and Shirley McKay, his great-grandparents, Peter and Yvonne Berens, Jacob and Gloria Swain, and his two siblings.

Celebration of Life will be held at 830 Empress Street on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, starting at 8:00pm.

Wake Services will be in Berens River United Church Saturday, February 28, and Sunday, March 1, 2026, starting at 8:00pm.

Funeral Service will be on Monday, March 2, 2026, starting at 11:00am with Pastor Roy Bouchie officiating. Followed by a burial at the Berens residence where he will rest with his kookoom and uncle.
